Problems with Mould?

Hey guys,
Looking for some advice.
My golf has been in storage (dry) with a cover over it, for around 3 1/2 or so years. I checked on it regularly, but not so much this year. I went and had a look at it this weekend and there is mould all over the seats and the steering wheel, disgusting!
Does anyone know the best way of cleaning these, or even better know someone that will do a deep clean (car is in Nuneaton, midlands) and I'm down in London so it'd be hard to do it myself unfortunately!
Cheers all,
Si

It should just wipe off. Then with regular use with disappear. It's the dampness that renerates the spores (obviously) so once dry them don't appear.

Cool, I just spoke to my mechanic who's collecting it tomorrow, said it shouldn't be a problem, this is pretty bad Dan, I have a photo but I'm ashamed of it haha!
Cheers though - all being well I'll see you at the AGM this year!

Yep, that's pretty bad! Looks like you are growing a suede steering wheel. I did read of something that you can put on to completely kill it, if not will come back if not given a good airing every now and then.

When you leave the car might be worth trying to make sure the car side air vents are open and the windows slightly open if possible.

Wont be able to keep the windows open, but it's a cabby so it's not very air tight anyways (holes in the roof) probably how the damp got in!

haha yeah, never smelt that great anyways, roof wasn't the best condition, it's in my mates garage now, apparently the roof was green too (I never took the cover off) he's clean it up for me
Good news it is started on a dime, said he chucked a battery on, started it, drove it onto the back of the truck!

Cheers mate! I tried to have a look for the picture of yours but with no luck, you still got it?
It's a cabby so i'm gonna get it washed and leave the roof down in the sun, as for leaks.. I can find them all pretty easy haha.
I'm thinking about leaving it under the car cover (it was when it was garaged) just need to make sure it's secure as it will be outside from now on

My cabby looked like that after just 6 months in storage and there are no leaks! Wiped it off with a damp cloth and parked it out in the sun for a day. It hasn't reappeared.
