mk2 scirocco dash fitting to a mk1?

Well i was planning on doing this thinking it was relatively simple, but the width on it is slightly wide, easily altered, but im guessing the bit that sits under the windscreen wont be level, correct?

can anyone help me out?

Based on the Golf MK1 platform i always thought it would be a straight swop ?

yeah as such, but sciroccos have that long arse angled windscreen....
