Aftermarket windscreen & chrome trim fitting

Hi all,

wondered if if anyone could provide some advice..

ive fitted my front windscreen but the rubber / chrome trim / screen are sitting high on the drivers side roof line..

Has anyone had a similar experience and what was the solution?  I wondered if there was more give in a normal non chrome style windscreen seal?  I had considered grinding the corner edge to help it sit well but the screen is heated so I’m unsure 😐

any suggestions or experience you have would be appreciated
