never done this myself but a mate put his twin weber 40s on a 1.3 mk2 polo and worked out pretty well I think, there's probably a few over on clubpolo

I've got twins on my 1300 derby on the MH code engine.
They sound great. Also more power and torque. Match with a 4 branch exhaust manifold and a single silenced exhaust for a bit more poke.
I often embarrass gti's of all vontages with it.
You'll need to find someone to do the final tune for you though I'd suggest.
