TFSI into a BAM conversion?

Post

Pretty much says it in the subject, I'm thinking 12 months in front but would I be right in thinking ( probably not  ) the TFSI with ECU and sensors would be "quite" an easy going swap?

needs a bit of coding work to get the ecu happy when it cant talk to all its mates (abs moduel etc)

2nd issue is there is no tacho out, and no VSS input this is all done over can-bus. you cvan get can-bus conversion modules but can be pricey

so have to workout all the costs to do this, vs beef up your BAM for similar power levels

My BAM has done 130k, I've got full service history and seen the car it came out of.
It's had the oil return pipe done  etc etc, it's smoking and smelling a little oily but only a very little.

A friend works as an insurance assessor  so I have access to a bargain if I wanted, going on that though it sounds like it would make sense to have a complete rebuild of the BAM … £3?
