Rear lights - brighter

Post

Hi, I know you can make the front headlights brighter with a wiring loom which I have done, but the rear lights I find really dim. Is there a way to make them brighter, alternatively recommend other light bulbs that are brighter. Thanks

Get the super bright LED's they use less wattage give off less heat, the only thig you have to worry about is the resistors to add to the turn lights.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Thank you for the reply Brian!

What type of LEDs do i need for them? Would the resistor be on the lights on/off switch?

When you buy Led's if they have the resistor built in great.  If they don't you either have to buy the resistor, or replace all the turn bulbs and get a LED flasher relay.

The resistor is placed in-line with the bulb usually on the bulb socket wire.

The LED's don't have the impedance of a bulb, so the existing flasher doesn't trip the same as it did with incandescent bulbs.
