Rallye rear bench into m.k 1 tintop

Howdy folks,I have a set of Rallye seats that I'm fitting to my car. I've fitted the front seats,swapped over the arms for the sliding mechanism and welded in new brackets ,worked a treat .Now I've been looking at the best way of fitting the rear bench.They slot into the bolts that the normal golf 1 seats go,just under the parcel shelf no problem ,but the seats are at an angle and i cant bolt them to the floor above the petrol tank.Their sitting roughly 4 to 6 inches above the floor .I've been doing a bit of trolling but I cant seem to find a how to guide for the rear bench.Any pointers folks? Thanks

if you change your mind i know someone with a rallye that needs a rallye interior

I presume the rallye rear bench is the same as a  standard m.k2 rear bench?

i once took the fabric off a mk2 rear bench and fitted it to the mk1 frame, it didnt look too bad for a home job..

the holes for the lock will show though

mk2 rear bench in a mk1  just looks wrong imho
 

Cheers mate,How do i adapt the bolts to fit  the seat catches ? I taught this woulda been done a million times ,but i cant seem to locate any pics/Info
