Porsche Wheel Adaptor Brake Pad Issue

Post

Bought some spacer adaptors to put Porsche wheels on & didn't expect this issue in pics when test fitting :(. Wheel turns but gap is like a sheet of A4 so bit tight for comfort. Brake calipers are the Vauxhall direct bolt on type so 280mm discs can be fitted.
So either I swap the brakes out again or shave a couple of mm off the middle of the pad at the bottom. Any other suggestions? Perhaps another brand of pad will have less metal backing maybe than QH?

I would try a different pad, as I have never seen a pad that was wider than the Surface area of the rotor.

I would take one of the new to a AutoParts store and see what the difference is.

Yo may have gotten the wrong pad in the right box.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

Believe thats a problem when doing the Vauxhall conversion.  .Had the same issue myself several years ago,  trimmed the pad short term,  bought g60 calipers long term…
