General tidy up needed!

Mostly done with my twin Weber conversion, but I still look at the bay and think there some cleaning up to do! The main thing is the coolant sensors on the front of the block, theres three, now which one controls the gauge and can i get a new bracket with only one slot for that single sensor?

I'd rather do it properly if I can tbh! The old bracket that came off it was different but don't know if it can be used.

No they all have sensors.

one of them is for the inlet manifold heater so that will need to be kept, the only one i can think of with 2 holes in is gti type but this wont work with the carby coolant hoses.

I don't have a manifold pre heater now though? When I say Weber, I mean twin 40DCOE type Weber!

right well the smallest number of holes you'll find is 2, but as above gti flanges are plumbed a bit differently

I think I have a GTi flange available that came with the engine, would the sensors in it work as they are different types? I also have all the coolant pipes from the engine, and am going to to a full coolant pipe kit at some point anyway, can the pipes be changed and made to fit if i changed the flange?

yeah the dash temp is the same rating for all, if its a meta flange you chop the 2 pin plug off and crimp a spade on the red/yellow wire, pop onto the sensor. the brown wire is then no longer used
