G60 brakes mk1 - Epytec adapters

Hi,

I'm doing a G60 brake conversion om my cabrio. I'm using the original hubs with Epytec brake adapters.

My problem is that the carrier om the left side is hitting the disc.

Did anyone else expirience this problem? I did not get any fitting instructions when I ordered the brake adapters and I have emailed Epytec about that but they seem reluctant to send me them now..

I believe there were some shims with the kit to adjust the position of the caliper in relation to the discs where the tolerances aren't exact.

Is the disc touching on the side? The shim should adjust that.

The kit came with washers that I used as shims but the adapter then touched the inside of the disc instead of the carrier. I am thinking of sanding the carrier down to get it to fit properly..

I must admit I didn't need the shims when I used that adapter for my g60 calipers.

The discs are the correct ones? I had 1-2mm clearance on either side.

What's the measurement of the recess between the carrier where the disc goes.

280 carrier is 25.5mm
256 carrier is 24mm

280mm disc is 22mm

Thanks for the help, did some sanding and the brakes are now on and fits nicely.
