Dash light upgrade

Does anyone have the link to the dash light upgrade thread - if I remember correctly this is to upgrade the standard set up to LEDs

I've had a hunt around the forums but without any success

i did this to mine, but instead of soldering i just trapped the wires for the 12v LED strip under the clock bulb contacts. bit fiddly but manageable

Cheers Jaaquo, just what I was after. Do you also have the link for the led strip you bought (with the wires attached)

did you also manage to sort out the rust spot with the paint guys who  did Scotts respray ?

hey no i haven't yet, I'm waiting for nice sunny weather and when my mates are released from their university work i will be cutting the rust out and welding a new patch in

I pickup up an orange LED strip from fleabay last week, I'm hoping to fit this tomorrow if I get the time.

u shouldn't need to solder or anything, i just trapped  the wires under the bulb for the clock
