It's a 1.8 8V Mk1 Clipper Cabriolet from 1988 which I would have thought has same set up as Mk2 Golf?
I've seen the ProSport ones on eBay which admittedly are budget and you pay for what you get etc. but actually a lot of people with MK2 Golfs seem to recommend them and I'm not looking to spend more than £200 as saving still for a trip to Le Mans in June.
So my questions are will these fit?
If not what do you reccomend?

Thanks as always,
Zack

Don't put cheap coilovers on your mk1…you will ruin it.

need to spend more money than that on coilovers for them to be any good. cheaper kits fine for slamming etc but not so great for ride and handling
