Right I'm thinking of upgrading the camshaft for a piper one either the fast road or ultimate road. There will be but not at the minute a black dimond stage 1 clutch going in. I drive the car only really at the weekends with a mix of runs and going slow in towns because of good old speed bumps. What would you go for? That will work best with a standard clutch and the upgraded one when I get round to fitting that. Cheers now! Oh and it's a 1.8 gti

no need for an uprated clutch for this mod, just a bog std sachs/luk kit. runnign a sachs on my ABF with 166bhp and 149 torques, its just fine
cam I cant help with, just dont go too mad as it ruins the drivability on a road car and gives a really lumpy idle

Thanks for that but the only reason the black dimand is going in is because I got it free with the car so seems a waste to not use it.

276 is always a nice cam to start with, not too aggro but you will definately feel and hear the difference.

cool may as well bung it on then.
might get good moneys selling on but a sachs clutch will set u back 70-90 so bear that in mind
