Brake upgrade to 280mm using vag parts.

Just one last verification….

Got a 93 cabriolet. I have RS016 15” which should clear the 280mm brakes

I got a set of mapco Scirocco 16V carriers. I am now looking for a set of G54 calipers. There are two versions, one for 256mm and one for 280mm. Basically the same but 280 version is slightly wider to clear the 22mm disc. Will these fit directly on the 16V carriers?

I need custom brake lines as well? Fitting is different between stock and G54 caliper as far as I’ve read.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
