Audi BAM engine, wiring loom, ecu purchased. Anything else before its gone?

Hi.  I bought the Engine, actually I bought 2. BAM+APX for cheap money.  BAM was said to be running fine when removed along time ago (fingers crossed) APX was apparently not running well but came in with the deal. I'm using the BAM.
Was looking for 1.8t agu engine when these came along and i remember rubjohny saying that it wasn't any more difficult to fit the BAM engine than an AGU, other than expense, so why not.
So seller also has more tt parts available so I'm asking if I need anything from him??. Ive read about the other parts needed for the conversion so all good there.
  I appreciate you advice. Thanks

The sump was damaged in transit but I read a shallow sump us better.  Is that a ground clearance issue?
Would the APX sump fit?
Thanks again

Yes that sump will fit.

I run a shallow sump on my bam it does help with clearance and also has the benefit of a steal bottom if it does catch the floor

you much better off with the bam ecu and loom as the agu management is so old

02j is mk4 based and 02a is mk1/mk2 I think   so I would use 02j I am using a mk4 Ibiza cupra 1.8T but its very high revving in 5th

So if I use 02j will I need to use shifter and cables from tt?
And if I use 02a can I use current setup in my clipper?
Thanks and sorry for the questions that keep coming but I think I've read so much on conversions that my memories a mess
Cheers

tbh I would use a mk4 golf gti  or mk4 diesel gearbox and just get the shifter from the same car

mk1/mk2 gearbox's the ratios will be well wrong

Great,  thanks very much.
Would you say the shifter on the tt is similar to the golf gti?  If so, i'll can have it from the fella breaking up the tt.
