ABF throtle question

Post

All is good with my conversion apart from a little niggle.
It happens about the point where the butterfly closes when slowing down in gear. Most of the time I take my foot off the accel. pedal and move to the brake the car slows smoothly. However, every now and again it slows up rapidly on the engine. I would imagine VW intended it to slow smoothly, but what controls this? Is it the switch on the throttle body? I broke it off the bracket and had to bond it back on, maybe I have moved it a little? Seems strange it only happens now and again.
(I only notice it now I'm not giving it 'beans' all the time…)

Any suggestions?

the throttle switch bracket is also the throttle stop so if thats moved a bit it could explain it, i take it you have cleaned the tb all spotless and checked for fault codes?

this link has the abf label files for vagcom and further down also explains how to check idle switch:

Thanks rubjonny
No fault codes. TB clean, but will pull it off and check.
Thanks for label files, but not sure I really know what I'm doing with VCDS.
Any chance of posting up the idle/TB switch setting pdf as I can't link to your signature docs. Google blocked…
Thanks

i would go with a gmail account if you're worried about google tracking all the porn you are searching for

plus its handy if you get an android phone as you can use it to sign onto the device then it'll backup all your settings and contacts for you (if you want that kind of thing)
