16v KR No spark Help!!

Help with KR 16v No Spark!

Been trying to figure this out today. I have no spark when cranking.

It's a 16v KR on carbs, using the ECU/TCI & loom

Fuel pump continues to run when cranking, so i've ruled out the hall sensor. I have voltage at pins 2&4 of the TCI unit (Also tried 3 other TCIs). Grounds appear to be fine. I've tried a known good Coil, double checked the wiring to the coil.

Pulled the king lead off the distributor and get no spark from it with ignition on or while cranking.

So i've ruled out the distributor, coil ECU and TCI which only leaves the wiring, which also appears to be fine, checked each wire from ECU to the TCI.

Also tried a spare distributor and spun it with the ignition on, I can hear the fuel pump running, but again no spark from the king lead.

One more thing to note, I'm not seeing the rev counter move on crank

No sure what to try next

Found the issue, The power wire was on the wrong side of the coil!

So much for double checking my wiring!

I have exactly this problem - still battling. Will swap the input leads round on the coil

Mmm, nothing.. back to the battle
