Pic request

I bought a new set of mounts for my 02A gearbox/1.8T conversion, The cambelt side fitted no problem as did the mount on top of the gearbox but the rear mount just does not fit at all. I just wondered if any of you 1.8T guys have any pics of the rear mount fitted?  Or if you would be so kind and maybe take a pic for me, it would would be greatly appreciated:ocf_emoticons__notworthy:Regards,

Front mount pics for you mate. Struggling to find some rear mount ones at the moment :(

Cheers for that lads, much appreciated. I managed to get the rear mount to fit as best I can this morning, I had to cut the top hole off the new bracket for it to fit, so it only held with 2 bolts. It should still be strong enough. Only other thing is the engine isn't perfectly level, not sure how important this is? I put a boat level on the fuel rail and it's within the bubble but not perfect.

Andy, is that front mount bracket the original mk1 bracket? My one is now about an inch away from the front panel O_o I was thinking of making some spacers for it but if there is a different bracket I need, I'd rather use that.

Cheers,

Andy

Yes mate it's the original MK1 mount. Went in fine on mine althought the rear one was a bit of a pain. Persevere and you will prevail. :)

I had to drill out the threads on the gearbox where the top of the mount bolts on, you then use the long bolt and nut to secure it.

The standard rear mounts you get for 02a boxes are not a direct fit for CDA and DPA boxes.

Top of bracket needs cutting off as mentioned and it needs a 12mm thick spacer to get the front mount to line up. At least mine did the other night.
