Insurance renewal

Hi all, is there any company that can offer cheap insurance, been with Carol Nash for few yrs but they have increased my policy from £170 to £225 for no reason am a 46 yr old clean license and have a ever day vehicle also.

I use classic line. 

Just insured my swallowtail for 140 quid. 

Thanks for that Roach, For modification I have got jeep headlights and non standard alloys which came with car, would you put these as modification? Also is yours an agreed valuation

I paid a shade over £100 with Adrian Flux - that includes the following mods:
larger servo, mc, discs
lowered
mild cam
K&N filter
larger throttle body
on an 83 tin top GTi

Limited mileage (1000 miles). Agreed value was an extra £30.
I'm 49 and have a 'main' car. It is also garaged.

Yes I would. 

My mk2 is with them too with all its mods declared agreed at 16k.
The mk1 will be modified with wheels and suspension soon and agreed at 14k. 

 Both unlimited mileage, and breakdown cover. 

Hi All, tried calling different companies and most are saying around £220 figure but some are even above £300 mark, just cant understand why it has gone up. Tried all the companies mentioned above but no joy but thanks to all.
