Post

I am trying to sort insurance for my MK1 cabrio with a 20v conversion. I have had prices of over £1,000 - who are you guys using?

Upgrades
256mm brakes
1.8t engine & gearbox
Hydraulic Clutch

What are you guys paying and who are you insuring with?

Thanks
Matt

Someone mentioned HIC earlier on the group, said it was about £300?

I've got a traders policy but I've got to get a new policy for my Alfa 155 2.5 diesel as it's a import and next year will have to get a policy on the cabby because of it's age Flux was the best for the Alfa which will be lowered, eibach springs, eibach arb, fmic, s/s system and 17" alloys at £275

Cabby STD is £77

I use Adrian Flux for my MK2 1.8T with all mods declared. I'm 37 with 8 yrs NCB and they charge me £196 fully comp with 3k mileage limit.

I'm so impressed with them I've got my E30 with them £96 with mods declared, Corrado VR6 Storm £136 and soon to be the MK1 when its back on the road.

Good luck
