 Ive recenty become the owner of a 1.3CL
The lad who owned it before didnt really care too much about it so has a few niggles im working on
Now im not expecting it to be a gti chaser or anything like that but ive bought a G40 manifold and downpipe to match up to the full stainless exhsust ( changing the rear box for a quieter one),  hoping to get a 5 speed box on it,  carried out a huge service on it and also bought a weber to replace the horriffic pissberg/solex carb
It takes forever to start,  runs really lumpy and horriffic mpg,  the carb is currently in a local carb specialist getting stripped,  cleaned and rejetted prior to installing it on my car BUT… ..
 What baseplate or flange do i need to fit it to my manifold? Ive searched and searched online and just ended up confusing myself with the answers ive found,  anyone got the definative answer? Ill love you firever!
