Nice one ! maybe they'll knock a bit off for 5 or something.
I've got a set of dellortos.
I've got a set of webers on my bug, so this makes a nice change.

Just reading that pitstop thread freaks me out…. I can strip and clean the carb, replace the rubber mount but that's it!

rah !! now THATS what im talking about !
we need a pic of the inlet on a 1.1 head ? anyone got one lying about, i've got a 1.3, will get pics in the morn.
Question, are the HK code 1.3's the same physically ? as thats what i have…….9.5:1 compression ratio apparently !

look what you lot have made me do! i had only intended to help Gold-mk1 out with some info, and now i've gone and bought a set of motorbike carbs(browsing ebay is never a good idea)!! I'm never going to get this bloody car finished.
agh ! dude ! you should have said, i've got a perfect set of carbs off a CBR 600 you could have had !
no matter - what you got, and how much you pay !?

so, how many people are genuinely interested ? theres no point in approaching them unless we have some definates.

also, what does everyone want? gold-mk1 your looking to mate twin dellortos to ?, Dub_Driver needs to mate gsxr600 throttle bodies to ? and i'm mating gsxr 600 carbs to a 1.3?so, how many people are genuinely interested ? theres no point in approaching them unless we have some definates.
these are all different applications so different manifolds and no group discount.
i think this thread needs to run for a bit to see who's interested in what, maybe even post a similar thread on the polo forums?

Initially I was thinking of using a cut down GT/G40 inlet manifold (haven't found one complete yet/still) but from seeing the picture dan posted:
(except I need to use some injectors.)
This looks just the ticket for those wanting to use bike carbs! But it depends on cost…
What is the outside diameter (OD) of your GSXR600 Carbs dan on the engine port side? Ditto Gold-mk1 with the CBR600's.
GSXR600 throttle bodies = 42mm (OD), centres = ~181mm
GSXR600 carbs = , centres =
CBR600 = , centres =
For those with bike equipment, a manifold similar to the Altiss Engineering piece could well do for all of us even if the measurements are a couple of mm out, as you can use a bit of hose and clips to mate them up as many do.
Advanced Autosport Technologies (http://www.ten24.co.uk/aat/index.php?cPath=84_27) do manifolds for 40/45 DCOE carbs but from reading a thread on another forum, their service isn't exactly brilliant, better off with Sorg and I do believe that there is a UK distributor.
