Finally, finally…hopefully.
Should have the Jetta back on the road this wik'end at the latest. Time to do a few bits with me birthday moneys… I'm 25 on 17th, my girlfriend told me last night my black to grey hair ratio is at 80/20. Time to re-live my teens already I think.
Exhaust time! Not looking to have old people shake their heads as I go past or anything, and to be fair the Jetski sounds pretty nice already. Previous owner told me it was a stainless exhaust but it looks pretty standard to me!
I've only ever had one exhaust done, and it was on my old Polo 16v, sounded the mutts nuts at around 4000rpm. I loved going to drop it off though and then going back to see a nice new exhaust that looked cool as penguin p.. wee.
I've always been a fan of the upswept old school-y type, so gonna take this pic I took of a mates (incredible) Mk2 for the guy to "copy".
Just wondering what I'm best of doing, was thinking of losing the centre box as it catches on speed bumps, and then having a new back box. Just worried that the little 1.3 might sound a bit tinny with the centre box out.
Anyone had an exhaust done on their small block? Could do with a few opinions really.
Cheers!

Had a smaller upswept version on my MK1 when I bought it. Got rid as it wasn't for me. I can't see what all the fuss is about but then again maybe I am a bit old for all that malarkey.

Yea its Chris' mate, I went to Uni with him. He told me the first day of uni he was going to get a mk2 when he graduated. Nothing but respect for the lad, love the car.
Smudger, I think you earn your cool points back from the 20vt conversion mate! I've always been a fan of a nice exhaust though, and I'm desperate to do a few things to the Jetta make it mine a bit more.

My conversion has been done many times before mate in many different guises so nothing special. I have gone for Jetex exhaust on mine so again not groundbreaking
