Superb - your car's looking great Greig. They must have been chuffed to have it over the weekend.

Thanks for putting me in touch with Robert at St Andrews. I went up for the charity casino evening but brought my car home that same night. I don't have many pictures but here's one that doesn't have me in it!

Thanks again, Andy

Yes Andy your right it is things like this that make my long haul worth while.  In fact on the way home my wife told me that she thought that id never finish it. So there you go mate get stuck into yours and get it finished.  Which reminds me I will need to read up on all your updates on your thread.
Andy O, your welcome mate. Im just glad you made it as you got me out of a hole. Your car looks great in the showroom.  I hope you never lost too much money at the casino night.

First Golf, lots of work. I've started so I'll finish!

And the mk1 still always seems to look more modern and a hell of a lot sexier than than the other 6 models. :)

Very nice
Your mk1 looks about the same size as the mk7, it must be the wheels or the angle of the photo as my looks tiny next the modern golf
see it in the flesh on sunday
cheers

You're right Baz it is just the angle. I parked it next to an 02 plate polo and it was the same size as it.
Looking forward to Sunday.
