Cholmondeley Castle Classic Car Show- Photos 10th May

If your pondering something to do this Sunday (10th May), then here's a couple of shows for you

Firstly

Sandwell Festival of Transport @ Salters Lane, West Bromwich, organised by Transtar who did the Midlands Festival of Transport, should be a good show, link below……

Secondly

Cholmondeley Classic car show, organised by Andrew Greenwood, this show is just north of Whitchurch, Shropshire on the A49.  Went to this one last year and really enjoyed it, if you turn up in a classic car and your not in the show, they invite you to go park right next to the entrance to the show (exclusive parking)   .  I'll be going to this one, link below……

I've always avoided going into the arena at one of these events.  I normally leave early or just laugh at those in the arena….It can be interesting seeing cars actually 'moving' at one of these shows….The last of this type I saw (Capesthorne Hall - I think same organisers) the guy with the mike called a Mk1 Golf a Polo…..until he read the badge at the back!!

Looking at your pics Warren i think you choose the right show.Sandwell was pretty poor today, other than the Jensens. But we was in West Brom.Would you be interested in organising a club stand next year.If nothing else it will help the show.I think it was the same organisers as Weston Park,Which in credit was great

Dig up an old thread, why dont you??

Being as this show is on tomorrow, I'll forgive you

Unfortunately, you still had to pay normal entry prices to get in, just got preferential parking near the show entrance.

You going tomorrow? If the weather is good, I'll pop along
