Since I lowerred
I lowered the golf with new coilies a week or so ago, but have found a problem now. If I accelerate hard or take a right hand bend fastish there is a vibrating/wobbling feeling thru the whole car. It's not the wheels rubbing on the archs, but feels more like a loose wheel altho they are all tight. If I ease off the accelerator it stops, or if I accelerate gentley it doesn't do it at all. It's kind of like a buckled wheel sensation, but if that was the case it would do it all the time.
Is it just because I have lowered it or is something about to let go, it seems odd that it isn't all the time, only when I do the things said.

Definitely shouldn't feel like this. Which wheels and tyres are you running? Its possible that the lowered/stiffer suspension has exposed a pre-existing fault you had. But most probably, you've not tightened something up that should be tight!

It sounds like loose or worn out top mounts.

TOP MOUNTS, i replied to your topic on ed38 aswel, i said my car has EXACTLY the same problem, check your top mounts, the top of the topmountshould be flush with the metal bit, nothing should be sticking up if you understand, there was a thread on here one time about worn topmounts, just checked mine and they are definatley worn, how hard are they to change, do i have to remove the whole suspension or can i jus change them from the top?

You'd have to remove the strut (and reset the camber again, etc) but if you've just fitted them, the bolts will be nice and easy to undo.

check the driveshaft bolt, as golfs are always prown to come undone, also if u undo them they are suposd to be renewd!
