What cables?
Hi I have a rear disc brake set up and I'm about to build it all up but I'm missing handbrake cables..
It's a mk1 axle with mk2 golf rear calipers and carriers ect
What handbrake cables do I need to buy to fit?
Any helps appreciated
Thanks

Question and it is a blatant hi-jack of a recent thread… What benefit is there of putting discs on the back of a car that has little or no weight on the back wheels especially under heavy braking?? Wouldn't it be wiser to smash the money into as strong a set of front brakes as you could afford?

A massive can of worms mate that's been discussed on here many many times and on other MK1 related forums.
Debateable benefit if any to fitting rear discs

Spend the money on upgrading the front brakes and keep the rears drums adjusted properly, (takes about 20 minutes every year or so) Drum brakes are good brakes!
Thats what I would do if I wanted to upgrade.
