Pulling to the left when accelerating
Hi guys
Wanting to pick your brains about an issue with my mk1 caddy…
Driving me crazy finding out what it is!
Basically, when accelerating it pulls to the left. Free rolling (clutch in) it rolls straight.
Ive recently lowered it on coils, had it tracked and camber by garage after.
Making me believe it could be the wishbone bushes?? as it free rolls straight but pulls when power is applied. and tracking/camber adjustment didnt solve it..
What do you guys think…Done loads of searches but couldnt find any that concluded a result!
Cheers.
Nick

You've probably checked things like this, but I've heard of this on more modern cars and it's been things like the tyres being different brands/treads/profiles/pressures at the same end of the car. Even the 'clutch in' test is the same as yours…it stops it. Worth a check over. :dontknow:

Yeah ive heard about this too, althouht My tyres are all the same…
Thanks for the suggestion though, Ill do an update when ive solved it because there alot of concluded threads on this in the search forum! hopefully help someone else out with the same problem
At the minute in the middle of changing the wishbones and upgrading the bushes for poly bushes.
Update soon!
