Sold to release money for an engine  then i saw these and had to buy them at that price, so now i am a bit short again for the engine
Plus the fact that i had to buy brakes which i didnt need before i messed them up ,
but changing wheel cylinders wheel bearings and shoes at the same time :wink:

yeah you can't go wrong renewing the rear hub internals - will be nicer braking etc…

Are BBS Alloys worth a lot then, if you're looking at financing an engine with the differential cost between the 2 sets of wheels?

I'd love to see a pic of your car with those, wheels, I'll reserve judgement on how the wheels look until then!

they are different i give you that . i have sold loads of golf alloys but never come a set like that .. 8)  what engine are after  i have a couple of engines

I sold bbs to release a bit of cash for an engine and then saw those wheels (wasnt planned) i had put the original 9 spokes back on!
 I got ?200 for the bbs, and engine is ?340, its a DX rebored to 1950cc (apparently) but was told that it cant have been with the original crank???? its done 22k miles since rebuild, head is polished and ported with a high torque cam

Do you think you were fortunate to get ?200 for the alloys? The reason I ask, is I bought the car and it came with a set of 14" BBS alloys in addition to the 9 spokes it was sitting on. I much prefer the 9 spokes, so the plan is to refurbish them (and I'll need the BBS's to sit the car on while I do that), then sell the BBS wheels at a later date.

I think ?200 is what i could have expected, but think they were worth more as nearly new pirellis on plus wheels were refurbed 6 months ago, have a set of refurbed 9 spokes on now with nearly new tyres they came with the car when i bought them with the bbs
