missing gears
Hi Folks
Just wondered what type of job it is to replace gear linkage on a scale on 1 to 10?
1 been so easy a blind man could do it
10 been its hard as F**K leave to the experts.
just that sometimes when going from 1st to 2nd i sometimes end up in 4th
and wondered if it was a job i could do without making things worst? or something best left alone and just get use it
thanks

Mick, it's not too bad a job, as Dubboy says just make sure it's in the neutral position. I think the Haynes manual shows some kind of VW special tool required, if all fails 'trial and error' mate.
