Gear box from mk2 in mk1?

Hello! Sorry for my english   .
I have a question :
I want to install a blocking of differential in mk1 1.6, but in Russia it`s too hard to get it. So how you think can i put gear box from mk2 with diff in my mk1?

better translation needed. do you want a limited slip diff or a automatic torque bias diff or do you just want to know if a mk2 gearbox will fit a mk1?

At first i just want to know about gearbox fitting …
P.S I will build my car for Club Rally.
