Front disc diameter??

Hi just wondered what size the front discs will be on a '89 1.8 cab? Is it 239mm or 256mm?

It will be 239mm, since all mk1 Golfs had this size as standard. The bit that varied was the width, the vented discs of the GTI being wider than the other models' solid ones.

you can fit 239x20 gti vented discs n pads straight onto your car if you like, pretty sure they'll be 239x12mm on yours as standard
