I used slick 50 on a 998 mini 16 years ago and it did improve mpg etc, but it doesn't seem as popular theese days :dontknow:
I recently used STP gearbox aditive on a Midget gearbox and it did smooth it down a little.
My opinion is use theese cures on worn components as a stop gap to proper repair, (they do make a difference but dont expect mircales!!!) but I always shy away from them on newly built kit and use a good quality lubricants.

If it's preventetive i wouldn't bother, I read somewhere that certain additves don't do bearings a pile of good in the long run, but can't remeber where
