Diff seal help needed

Please help as shes now Motd and on the road on my mk1 Campaign with a 9A gearbox i need the diff seals VAG do two different types Part No: 020 498 085 A  and  020 498 085 E The 085 A Part no is now obsolete but how do i know which is the correct part number for the seal needed? Does someone have a part no? Or know where else i could get the seals from?? Many Thanks Mike
