Coilovers and air-ride..opinions please

Hi all,

Would like some informed opinions from you guys on the subject of having a coilover and air-ride suspension set up.
I was thinking originally to just go for coilovers (KW's or FK's) but got this morbid fear that when the car go's for it's ITV (spanish version of MOT) and gets rolled onto the vibrating rollers (which are sunken and f**** harsh!!) for it's suspension test I'm gonna have serious issues with scraping etc. I know the easy option is to just wind up the coils before I go there (it's only once a year)but just seen a few lads in mags and on several forums etc rolling with the coil/air set up and I think
A. It looks sweet when you can drop the car so low for shows etc and B. its so much easier to increase the ride height for the dreaded ITV and just for a crap road or speed bumps & ramps with seriously harsh transitions you know?

I would appreciate some advice and opinions on cost, ease of installation and whether or not it'd be practical?

Cheers
Marc
