clutch problems
when i had the engine out i renewed the clutch, the engine and gearbox are back in and im slowly cracking on so tonight i fitted the clutch cable and pedal
however theres nothing on the pedal it just sinks to the floor  i disconnected the cable a the g/box end and the release pawl just lifts up with little or no resistance, so what do you reckon??
i was thinking release bearing?? or pushrod???
how hard are these to change with the gearbox in situe :dontknow:
or do i need to take the g/box out again   :dontknow:

Mine was the same and thought it was the bearing but the cable just needed tightening…(ie. I didn't have enough of the rubber blocks to put the correct tension on) would try playing with this before looking at the release bearing…..
HTH apologies if I am being simplistic….

I have had a few pushrods wear through the release plate on older clutches without the hardened tit in the middle, these are rare now though
