Clicking Noise from engine

Hi,

I'm getting a strange clicking noise from my engine, well it sounds more like something knocking actually, like metal against plastic. The noise increases in frequency, meaning happens more often when i turn a corner. It doesn't happen when the engine is in idle, only when i'm moving.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Is it definitely coming from the engine? Could be a CV joint otherwise!  :?
