Choice of tyres for original Tarantula alloys

I've just restored my 1.6 GTI tin top golf, I am finding it very hard to source tyres for these alloys. I believe the correct size is 175 x 70 x R13 on a 'H' rated. Can anyone suggest what sort of brands, prices and size combinations  avaliable for gearing and performance please?

I have restored the car back to original, so a reasonable looking tyre would prefer.

i found 4 in my local scrappies nearly new condition 8-9m for ?20. 2 pirellys an 2 hancocks! chuffed lol am after 3 center caps at the right price though if u know of any going lol

falken 185/60 i think ?45 fitted

uniroyal also do that size

For originality I went for Dunlop SP2000's at ?29.50 +VAT each.

I was told these tyres were originally designed for the MK1 but don't know if this was true.

i was running 185/60 CF1's

Gave a bit better handling/grip.

I have 2 unused toyos for sale in the wheels/tyres section.
