cheap mk1 coilovers

hi,  8) any1 know a good place i can get a set of cheapish coilovers for my 1989 gti cab??? lookin for something with a 120mm drop

I got a set for 169 delivered!!!  not bad for the price either tbf. after a few months the springs don't look too good but the shocks aren't too bouncy!

yeah im running hottuning ones. theyre generally quite cheap. due to the price they dont have much adjustment so can wind them down, but they get very stiff as they get further whereas more expensive ones you get more control

ironically mine ride better than my mates jetta, and she has bottom of the range kw's on lol

it's down to tyre choice as much as anything.  if you run stretch or low-profiles you'll feel everything.

run a reasonable size and you get a nice smooth ride.

Plus early hottuning's bounced like anything. they've fixed that now they're running ta-teknics dampers!
