Cabbie GTI spring Spec
Had new springs fitted all round. (F reg totally original GTI Cabbie) Right length but wrong stiffness.
Rear tyres grounding on the Karmann wheel arch with minimum passenger load. Before I have a go at the garage, is there any spec that they should have followed … other than "stronger" or "towing spec."
Don't know how they're measured … any help appreciated.

I had the same problem. i had them done 100llbft unladen and them gradually going down to 150llbft pressure on the springs.
Talk to Carl he is a really helpful chap.
I would recommend going a little stiffer than i had but it was ?50 well spent for custom springs.

I had some cabrio rear springs on the back of me rocco as I wanted something a bit stiffer without lowering, they're a different part from normal mk1/rocco springs.
Ordered mine from gsf over the phone.
