Brake Disk Guards

Can these still be purchased? Are they strictly necessary? One was rusted too badly to salvage while the other one is not too bad. Thanks.

Hi yes your local VW dealer still has them about ?9.00 each last i bought a pair . You can run with out them. But .

To replace them means new wheel bearings as the hub has to be removed to get the new ones on .

Thanks. Yeah I noticed that the hub would have to come off to get at them. Might just leave it until the bearings go then.
