19mm master cylinder connections & pressure switches?

hi chaps, i have what i think is a 19mm master cylinder and wanted to confirm what was connected to the numbered outlets 1,2,3 and 4 in the image below.

I understand it will b a combination of 2 brake light pressure switches and the front and rear brakes, but needed some idea as the order and if T pieces would be needed for the brakes (and if they needed to be installed diagonally. Hope this makes sense.

thanks.

ps. yes i know the servo is missing - call it an experiment….. :D

the front two holes will be for the front  brakes  and hole 3 and 4 for rears ,  for the brake lights to work you would only need one pressure switch i think the second is just incase one packs up , thats what i got told anyway and worked fine on mine . ive seen alot of people blocck two holes up and just use say 1 and 3 with t pieces as my 19mm mastercylinder only has two holes if that makes sense .The Mk1 Golf Owners Club

no the front 2 holes are 1 circuit on the mc, the back 2 holes are the other circuit.

you should have opposite corners on each circuit so if one fails you still have 2 working brakes on opposite corners of car.

so front 2 you could have front left and rear right, back front right and rear left. or the other way round, it makes no odds just as long as opposite corners are on each circuit.

if its an early one you also need pressure switches, can fint those with a t piece. or switch to later brake pedal mounted switch
