1.8 carb engine 4 speed box?

Hey guys… It's been a while. Any way. I'm getting the caddy back in the garage as I blew a con rod a few months ago… I have finally found an engine for it but it's a 1.8 carbed…

I have the 4 speed box for the 1.6 carbed and wondered if I could use it on the 1.8? 

It's a really cool box :) so I would love to keep it lol… Anyone ever done this before?

yup straight fit, I would recommend you fit a 210mm clutch kit while its off as 1.8 a bit more pokey. will need a 210mm flywheel (carb preferably for timing mark but can make your own)

prob get away with the old 190mm setup tbh, but I'd put a new kit on it at least
