The beeatch is back on the road! HOORAY (and after much poundage  :cry: ) I've been away from the scene for a bit (don't ask) and need to catch up. I understand that we've been a bit fragmented since the colosos that was my first meet (15 mk1's I believe - Ross, am I wrong?).
So…..
Big effort required for the next one. I'm not proposing a venue yet - let's see how the land lies. But I think it would be good to get a full on meet going again. Answers on a postcard to the usual address…  :wink:

The plan is to meet at Cribbs for the November meet. 2nd Sunday of the month as usual…. making that the 12th.

Anyone have any other ideas?

cribbs would be much better for me.

Yeah, think we said Cribbs as last one was Exeter, the SWM16 around Taunton.  Taunton is more central for most, and would make an excellent pre-christmas meet, with high numbers

as you know i cant make it, but was just reading about the xmas one back at taunton, yeah well up for that (even though its still too far on my 13s  ), hope thats a big one at least.
Everyone that said they would go the the last attempt (from in the SW) lied as it was just me and ross that turned up for that.

I just don't now why the numbers drop off so sharply.  The NWM are having the same problem.  I really like just turning uo, chatting to people, and having a good look at their cars - but i think this puts people off.  perhaps we should think of something else than a 'car park meet' :dontknow:

I've got in touch with a few scirocco members who could make up numbers, but it would be nice to have a good mk1 golf turn out :roll:
