NW meet June 9th

Ok fellas…The next north west meet is looking like the 9th of june at The Wiggin Tree Pub, Parbold hill (A5209) off J27 of the M6 at 7pm.. I'll be there early and getting my tea as I did last time, anyone wanting to do the same is more than welcome to join me! last time 5 of us made it and to be honest I couldn't have hoped for a better bunch of lads! So get your skinny little a*@ses over there….The more the merrier!…Cheers…Walt!

I'll be there with a coat on this time. Nearly froze to death last time. I'll have to leave@9ish coz I'm workin over@ Todmordon again. hopefully someone mite remember to bring me over a bottom trim which would be much appreciated and i'll clean mi car out this time aswell.

If kins can make it over from leeds way, why dont we change it to a north meet just in case people think there not allowed. In fact everyone on the site should know that the meets are open to everyone its just that for a group of people its a conveniant location.

Well I come under NW because when not at uni I'm in Ingleton which is NW. I agree though everyone that can make it is welcome!

Quite right DjEv, the NW meet should be open to anyone who can attend! I know people on this site who don't even own a mk1 at present but would like one! I'm bringing a friend with me to the meet on the 9th in the same situation! The meet as far as I am concerned is for anyone who loves mk1s. When we have enough regulars attending we can sort out some cruise days or evenings out! Hopefully bringing more out of the woodwork! Maybe getting the family involved in a day out to wales could be in order! Who knows!

Thanks for the reminders/invites Walt, but I'll be unable to make an appearance, still too far for me, I'm only a young lass and shouldn't be going miles away to meet up with strange men! Would've enjoyed the tight t-shirt competition though!  :cheer:
Maybe next time though if I won't cramp your style! I may have another Golf soon to go further afield in. Enjoy yourselves!

I live in North Yorkshire and I'm going (providing I get my gearbox done). If you can get to Ingleton I'll give you a lift :wink:
