NW meet date now arranged

In case any one hasn't read the other post, the date has been set for the first NW meet.

The location will be The Wiggin Tree, Parbold. Time 7pm

Directions

Exit at Junction 27 M6, and travel towards Parbold on A5209. Ccontinue for about 2 miles and the pub is on the top of the hill. Exercise care when turning across on coming traffic as it is a brow!

Food and drink is available.

Thanks for the pm but it's a bit far for me, especially as BOTH cars are broken.

My '79 made a bang/pop noise coming back from work today, stalled and wouldn't fire up properly again…cam/timing belt?  Rang up break down people and I have forgotten to swop cover from my '82 and so they wouldn't send anyone out!

I'm planning on going down to Gaydon for my first meet.
Are most of the people leaving posts into modding their mk1s?
I'm not checking this site for months at a time now but god, it's gone crazy with the number of people posting and viewing.

This meet is now sorted. I have spoken to the manager of the pub and he agrees to have us fro 7pm on Thursday 12th May 05.

He did sound a bit dubious at first as the Subarau crowd "treat the place as a race track". If we want to keep it then lets keep the speeds down eh?  :wink:

Just fitted 2bald front tyres so I can do proper burnouts :x .
As if. I wouldnt even try 2 wheelspin cant afford the tyres. Plus Dano will have a close eye watchin us all evening. Or is it evening all?

  Dont want to be out done so will be pop riveting everything from the Richard grant catalogue onto my cab tonight - oh and wont forget the led washer jets and valve caps

might even glue a bean tin over my tailpipe so you all think its a big jap job !!
