I found the below posted up!
1st & 3rd Wednedsay of the month, in the field round the back, it has a car meet.
http://www.griffinshead.co.uk/
All sorts of precious metal turns up, from a few grands worth to several hundred thousand pounds plus.
We went in the Clipper this week and noticed a couple of other Mk1's there, was it you?
Maybe worth a punt if anyone is passing.
Kicks off anytime after 6pm and goes on until its cold or dark.

Yes it was me!
I knew I had posted it somewhere but then couldn't find it.
Anyway, if the sun ever comes out it is definately worth a trip over there, great car meet to see something other than, dare I say, a field full of camper vans!

Well worth going too. Nipped down there myself tonight and if like me your into historic motors you won't be disappointed.
Only saw two other mk1's a red soft top and a Helios blue very tidy A plate. However the dudes I spoke to were a friendly bunch.
I'll be going back!

Been going for a few years and it gets better every year.
Hope to see you at one of the meets, 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month.
