Classic car show Bristol/south glos bank holiday 30th may

Alright I know it's a busy weekend already with rtts and Plymouth volksfest but would anyone from Bristol or south glos like to meet up for the Berkeley castle classic car show

it's on the Monday 30th bank holiday and I think it's only a fiver to getin

could meet up and convoy there??

If there's no intrest will just wait around til Bristol volksfest for a meet so no biggie

Alex if we are going to all meet and convoy up then from meeting point (either Bradley Stoke or cribbs causeway) then it's 20mins/15 miles away

scott, boys r trying get me out for a few beers on sunday night lol, but i am sensible one and wont drive over the limit, so will cool off earlier in the night. im fine meeting at cribbs like halfrauds or bradley stoke like the big tesco or something, what time you thinking of meeting up on the Monday morn?

well gates open at 10am so if you guys just want to park in visitors car park then say meet about 9:45 - 10 and get there for about 10:30 - 11:45 ?? or could leave it a bit later if you prefer.

If you want to put the cars on dispaly then ill hpone up the people organsising and see what time they want us to be there, i assume we will have to get there around 9:30 in that case.

Bad news guys, just spoke to the people organsing the evnt and they stopped taking bookings for displays end of April, and they said there's no way they could squeaze us in now. I'm still up for going down though for just a look at all the motors if you guys are?

yeah thats still cool mate, we can make our own display in the car park :-)

On another note though I've had a phone call from the people who are organising the event and they are going to be organising a new VW show in the same grounds, it's not until Sunday 18th September and I mentioned the mk1 owners club and they want us to attend. For those of us who went to cttp I think they were handing out flyers there.

Anyway they are sending me information pack and booking forms but I will start a new thread nearer the time
