Cambridge Meet, Saturday May 5th

Ok, chucking an idea on the table after a bit of feedback from some others.

Would anyone be interested in a meet, say in the Cambridge area?  Seems to be a reasonable centre for a possible gathering for people from East Anglia.  There isn't much in the way of mk1oc meets in the area other than Essex  and Norfolk and perhaps give those who are a fair distance from those to get together with others.

Post up your thoughts and/or suggestions as to location, poss dates etc.  I'm sure I can rely on some of the essex region to support this.

You know i am up for that meet, sure rov will come along and my mate who came to show in cabby will come to

Yeah good idea, but dont know Cambridge area well enough to suggest a meeting point other than to say a friendly pub with a big car park, beer garden and of course real ale would be ideal !!! As for a date would we keep it to a weekend as think that would be easier ?

I reckon a weekend would be best for most of us.

Rachel is checking out a pub she knows in Fen Ditton. The Plough. Big car park and by the river, so sounds good. She reckons the food is ok

i agree  a quite friendly pub with car park beer garden and possibly a childrens activitie climb frame adventure place type thingy to keep my boy entertained.

weekend would be good and saturday even better as the wife works on a sunday and i know she will wont to come along and look at the shiney cabs

id be up for that cambridge isnt to far from me.

Sunday better day for me as i try to work saturdays, and my wifey and lil boy may come as well if its on a sunday, hope this dosen't muck anything up  :dontknow:

Ok i've added a poll for a weekend in a couple weeks time, please vote your preferred option and let majority rule.  It's always an option to rotate the days should a regular meet be set up.

Are we/do we booked/need to book a place at Battlesbridge?  I know you only mentioned it a few hours ago.  Be good to have our first ani meet at a show.  Which classic show on the 12/13?  Soooo many shows

I mentioned to Brian that I might try to get some along, and he was up for that so I suppose I could just let him know rough numbers
