Calling ALL Regions - A Challenge . . . . . . . . .

As Spring is almost here and Regional Meet attendance will be on the up I hereby set a challenge to every region of the Mk1 OC . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Here, if you wish to partake, is the challenge :

How many Mk1s can you get through a fast food drive-thru  8O

The rules are simple :

1) The place has to be open

2) Every vehicle MUST purchase at least one item



3) The line of Mk1s MUST be continuous

Doesn't matter if it's Maccy D's, KFC, Burger King etc etc etc but we do need photos (and preferably video) evidence.

No rush, closing date is the 1st Oct 2010

haha niice, i would be up for it but brizzle seems to be a little slow at the mo on the mk1 front…

haha sounds like a laugh to me, can already see the picture on anyone elses face when they see a line of mk1 golfs going through a drive though with photos being taken as well  

The hardest part will be deciding on a venue, personally I'm a KFC Boneless Banquet    man :mrgreen: closely followed by BK    then Maccy D's third

i say we hit it hard at the next MK meet! take a drive to a drive thru and go for it! zammo could video it again, or someone without a mk1, quality idea! let the games begin

Think the Chester & Wales crew would be up for this!! But I think we would win hands down if it were "how many Mk1's on top of a mountain!!!

Heh.  once the SW region pulls their finger out and decides life doesn't come before Golf, we'll be game.

Mixerman - we should get the SW region moving again.  Mine will be out of storage in May!  There are a few bodies in bristol that don't have a home right now!

would enjoy that but cant se that many surrey boys on here, plus i think if you get a big line of mk1's you should only order 1 item each, so everyone would drive in and say 6 mcnuggets please, watch their little minds boggle

Can I claim the Uttoxeter region drive through and book it for 24th July? Me and my 70 or so mates wish to go for a cruise and will be hungry!!!

Can you imagine the horror - and chaos, we'd cause on the AGM rally if we rolled up en masse to scoff all their food???!! That would get us noticed one way or another!!

There were enough comments from ' other ' drivers who got held up at junctions as we trundled past!!!!!  

I have another idea for the AGM, will reveal all as and when  8O

haha im sure that would make it in the papers or something if everyone from the club went through a drive through on the AGM
